Rung

A controller for distributed building and home control, by think3.

Rung runs on a small controller box inside a home or building. It adopts the switches, dimmers and input/output devices of an installation, lets an installer author what each button does, and pushes that configuration to the devices - which then run on their own, whether or not the controller is up.

Backups. Rung can keep a nightly, encrypted backup of its own controller in the installation's Google Drive, so a failed controller can be replaced and restored. It asks Google only for access to the files it creates, and encrypts every backup on the controller before it is uploaded.

This address, rung.think3.co.nz, returns a Google sign-in to the Rung controller that started it. It stores nothing and runs nothing else.
